In case you haven’t heard, Girls’ Guide has branched out to the baseball world. Twelve women from all around the country have come together to master the game in Jordan’s other favorite sport.
As a rookie to the realm of fantasy in America’s favorite pastime, you immediately notice a few glaring differences between fantasy football and fantasy baseball. For example, rotisserie scoring, daily roster changes, a team from Detroit actually winning games, and offensive players from Baltimore even being worthy of ownership.
The first parallel I’m calling out is that the Catchers are the Tight Ends of baseball – not really a source of big points.
Monday, March 30th 2009 turned out to be an epic evening. GG2FB had its first draft and a few of the league members were able to meet up and celebrate scoring their target picks at a free Dead concert at Roseland Ballroom in NYC.

We welcome you to follow our progress throughout the season on our ESPN Public League.
And take yourselves out to the ballgame when you can.
Since I’m not a fantasy baseball fan I will be biding my time watching draft and preparing for my NFL fantasy draft in August. I’ll also be watching the Chris Cooley reality series on Youtube. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the trailer:
